Holly’s Personal Experience With the Pico Toner

As the owner of a medical spa and someone who has access to the latest aesthetic devices and procedures, I wanted to share with you part of my regimen. The device has two programs.  Program 1 is used to reduce wrinkles, tone, tighten, and lift and Program 2 is used to improve circulation, stimulate collagen and elastin production, and tighten large pores.  The length of each program is 20 minutes and NeuroTriS has reserved an additional 10 minutes for future updates to the programs.  If you are interested in a longer treatment, you will reset the device at 20 minute intervals.

 

The PICO Toner is designed with a feedback loop to automatically adjust for the optional output based on your skin during your treatment.  It detects whether your skin is dehydrated or more or less resistant depending on the area of the face or body, for instance, and automatically adjusts to the optimal current strength for the best results.  You don’t need to dial the current up or down and calculate the appropriate microamps and guess what your skin needs like with other devices.  Simply set the controller from 0 to 100 and the PICO Toner determines the level of current that is needed for your desired setting.

 

The PICO Toner attachments are so versatile and easy to use.  The pads can be used to simultaneously treat multiple areas.  You can please the pads on the desired area and leave the device to do the work.  For an interactive treatment, the gloves are great for contouring while the forks and probes can be used to lift and tone depending on the size of the targeted treatment area.

 

I use the PICO Toner 4 to 5 times each week and I alternate Program 1 and Program 2, which is according to NeuroTriS’ recommendation.  Remember, during an active treatment, the attachments should not touch one another otherwise this will cancel the current.  For example, when wearing the gloves, don’t allow them to touch each other during the treatment.  With Program 2, you will use both of the attachments on one side of the face at a time.  Don’t worry, the PICO Toner comes with detailed instructions and instructional videos so that you will know exactly how to use the device for optimal results.  Compliance is key.  With regular use, the PICO Toner delivers!

It is flexible and convenient.  It uses a AAA battery and the device comes with a strap to conveniently wear it on your wrist during the treatment.  You won’t be tethered to the wall – it does not have a power cord that needs to be plugged into an outlet.  You can freely walk around if you need to without interruption.

 

 

Unlike other microcurrent devices, you do not need conductive gel, which is such a great feature from my point of view.  You will simply spray the conductive ions, which come with the PICO Toner, or you can use water if you do not have any of the spray.

 

There are specific movements that you should make depending on the accessory that you use and the program that you select.  Movements for Program 1 include:

 

  • Gliding in upward motions from the bottom of the treatment area to the top of the treatment area;
  • Cinching the treatment area, which works well to lift the cheeks and jaws;
  • Erasing wrinkles using opposite motions to remove tension and pull the wrinkles away for example on facial expression lines; and
  • Holding the position for a few seconds in the areas that require more attention, which is especially effective when treating the body.

 

For Program 2, consistent, upward sweeping motions work on the deeper, foundational aspects to lift the face and body.
